Americana singer-songwriter, producer and recording artist Brigitte London is proud to present Spirit of the Wild Woman, an ambitious 17-song double concept album celebrating the remarkable women whose courage, independence and unconventional lives helped shape the American West.

More than a collection of songs, Spirit of the Wild Woman is a musical odyssey into the lives and legacies of women who challenged expectations, defied convention and forged their own paths across the untamed frontier. From colorful personalities and adventurous trailblazers to complex figures whose stories deserve to be remembered, the album shines a spotlight on the unsung heroines of the West and the indomitable spirit that defined them.

Among the historical women whose lives and stories inspire the album are legendary frontier personality Calamity Jane, Dahteste, the Native American warrior and scout, Stagecoach Mary, the trailblazing African American stagecoach driver, the world’s first known cowgirl Lucille Mulhall, and notorious outlaw Belle Starr, along with numerous other remarkable women whose contributions and stories have often been overlooked by history.
